Bloggy McBloggsta

When I'm giving tours and parents ask me what I'm planning to do with a degree in communications, I smile and tell them I'm going to marry an engineer.  Juuuuust kidding.  I mean it guys-- I've never said that.  Instead, I go a safer route and tell them I've got a year to think about it.  I'll sometimes list a few prospects, like hospitality sales or event planning.  When kids from Cedarville ask that same question, I've recently started launching into a vivid scenario of world expedition; migrating from coffee shop to coffee shop, engaging in the most fascinating conversations with the locals and writing poetry.  I will fund this incredibly practical lifestyle with a blog; a blog so greatly admired that sponsors will be flooding my bank account with the funds necessary to continue traveling and drinking espresso and writing such captivating little masterpieces.

In other words, I have no idea what I'm doing after graduation.  But just in case all my wildest dreams come true, I figured I'd start this lovely little blog.

If I could pay the bills
With the poetry flowing from this fountain pen
If this could be enough
I’d take it
If I could reside in coffee shops
Just the warmth of your smile for comfort
A starving artist; meaning drawn
From words of life and love
Melodies
Espresso beans
Well that’d be just enough for me
